Nobilia Senso Jade Kitchen | Industrial Style | Caesarstone Organic White Worktops | NEFF Appliances | Exmouth

This contemporary kitchen in Exmouth features the Nobilia Senso range in Jade. Designed and supplied through Kitchen Kit Exeter, the project formed part of a complete renovation after the homeowners purchased their bungalow.

Combining clean-lined Jade cabinetry, Caesarstone Organic White quartz worktops and carefully selected NEFF appliances, the finished kitchen makes effective use of the available space. Several elements were adapted around the homeowners’ requirements while retaining the streamlined character of a modern German kitchen.

What were the goals for the new kitchen?

The homeowners wanted to make the best possible use of the room and create a kitchen that would be practical and comfortable for them to use every day.

Accessibility was an important consideration. The hob needed to sit at a more comfortable height, while the fridge and wall units also required careful positioning. These adaptations had to be incorporated without compromising the clean, linear appearance the clients wanted.

How was the available space used?

The L-shaped arrangement places the sink, hob, oven and preparation areas within easy reach of one another. Drawers and cabinets beneath the worktops provide accessible storage, while the tall-unit area accommodates the fridge and NEFF oven.

The gas hob was lowered to a practical working height. Rather than interrupting the appearance of the worktop, the Caesarstone quartz continues behind it as a raised shelf, creating a distinctive and carefully finished cooking area.

The fridge was brought forward and the wall units were lowered to better suit the homeowners. These changes demonstrate how thoughtful kitchen planning can improve everyday usability while maintaining a cohesive design.

Why was Nobilia Senso in Jade chosen?

The Nobilia Senso range was selected to create the contemporary, industrial-influenced appearance requested by the homeowners. Its clean slab-style fronts give the kitchen a streamlined look, while the muted Jade colour introduces softness and character.

As part of Kitchen Kit’s collection of Nobilia kitchens, Senso combines modern German styling with practical cabinetry designed around the way each household uses its space.

What worktops and appliances were included?

The Jade cabinetry is paired with Caesarstone Organic White quartz worktops. Their light, understated finish keeps the room feeling bright and provides a clean contrast with the coloured cabinets.

The appliance specification includes a NEFF single oven, wide gas hob, dishwasher and large cooker hood. A Blanco undermount sink and tap complete the sink area beneath the window.

Under-cabinet lighting illuminates the worktops and adds depth to the finished design. Light grey plinths complement the quartz surfaces, while stainless-steel handles, appliances and extractor details create a consistent finish throughout the room.

The finished result

The completed kitchen is bright, practical and carefully tailored to its owners. Its adapted working heights, accessible storage and well-connected layout make the room easier to use, while the Jade cabinetry and stainless-steel details retain the desired contemporary character.

Kitchen Kit supported the installation and liaised with the homeowners’ builders throughout the wider bungalow renovation. The clients were delighted with both the finished kitchen and the service they received.
