This Nobilia Senso kitchen was designed for a contemporary new build home in St Ives, creating a distinctive and highly personal kitchen for the client’s forever home.
By combining Coral true handleless cabinetry with Havana Oak accents, Dekton worktops and carefully planned storage, the finished design delivers a kitchen that feels modern, warm and practical for everyday living.
What were the goals for the new kitchen?
The client wanted a kitchen that felt slightly different from a standard contemporary design and immediately loved the Nobilia Senso door in Coral.
As this was their forever home, the brief was to create a sleek, low maintenance kitchen that worked beautifully within the new build while also offering a compact and functional utility room.
What design challenges did we solve, and how?
The design needed to feel clean and streamlined, with practical storage built into the layout without interrupting the overall look.
Tall units were designed to sit seamlessly to the ceiling, creating a built in finish while maximising storage. The island was planned with accessible drawers, giving the client practical storage in the heart of the kitchen.
A reduced depth storage unit was also added to the rear of the island, helping to make the most of the available space.
Which cabinets and worktops did we choose, and why?
The main kitchen features Nobilia Senso cabinetry in Coral, designed as a true handleless kitchen for a clean and contemporary finish.
Havana Oak accents were introduced to add warmth and texture, balancing the bold Coral cabinetry with a softer natural detail.
Dekton Nacre worktops were chosen for the kitchen, with waterfall island end panels creating a premium focal point and adding to the overall sense of quality.
The utility room features Nobilia Riva cabinetry in Concrete Sand reproduction, paired with matching laminate worktops and bronze knob handles for a practical but stylish finish.
Which appliances and features complete the kitchen?
A full suite of NEFF appliances was integrated into the design, including a fridge freezer, single oven, combi oven, venting hob and dishwasher.
The venting hob keeps the kitchen feeling open and uncluttered, removing the need for overhead extraction.
Open shelving with LED lighting adds a feature detail to the space, while the utility room includes an eye level washing machine and dryer for added everyday convenience.
A Franke polished nickel tap and white composite sink complete the sink area with a refined, contemporary finish.
How does the finished kitchen work day-to-day?
The finished kitchen provides a wonderful place to cook, relax and enjoy the views from this exceptional new build home in St Ives.
The island creates a practical and sociable centre point, while the tall storage, accessible drawers and utility room help keep the main kitchen clear and easy to use.
The result is a striking yet highly functional kitchen that reflects the client’s style while supporting everyday living.

It was nice to see care and a personal service being taken throughout the whole process, with the team always quick to respond to any queries.
The kitchen was for our new build home, so there was lots of coordination required with other tradesmen, and this was all handled well.
